Yamaha Introduces New 65-Series Home Theater Receivers
Yamaha has announced its latest line of Home Theater Receivers that bring more advanced features to an affordable price level. 421 Television Stations Have Made The Analog-to-Digital Switch

Top Picks - 26 and 27-Inch LCD Flat Panel Television  from your  Home Theater  Guide
Flat panel televisions are quickly becoming quite commonplace on store shelves and in consumers' homes. Although Plasma TVs seem to be be getting a lot of attention in this area, the LCD television is actually making a bigger impact with consumers. Just because you can't accommodate or desire a large screen television, doesn't mean you can't get a small TV with good performance. The KDL-26M4000 has a modest-size 26-inch screen, but boasts a native 1366x768 native pixel resolution and 2,500:1 contrast ratio. In addition, this set features a decent sound system with four processing modes: Clear Voice, Dynamic, Custom, Game, and Standard, backed up by a 10wpc x 2 amplifier. Also, don't worry about inputs, the KDL-26M4000 has 2 HDMI inputs for high-def sources, and Component, Composite, and S-video connections for older sources. Another bonus is that you can use the set as a PC monitor and a TV at the same time with its PC-PIP function.

3) Panasonic Viera TC-26LX85 26-inch LCD TV
Although Panasonic is more well-known for its Plasma TVs, they also have a full line of LCD TVs in the 32-inch and below screen size. The TC-26LX85 is a great performing set in the 26-inch screen size. Some of the features include a 1366x768 native pixel resolution, 10,000:1 Native Contrast Ratio, 3 HDMI inputs, and built-in ATSC tuner for access of over-the-air HDTV signals. The TC-26LX85 even comes with an SD card slot for display of digital photos. This set also incorporates IPS (In P*** Switching) which is a technology that improves the side-to-side viewing angle. If you are looking for a compact LCD television that still delivers a great high definition picture and offers some practical features, check out the Panasonic TC-26LX85.
