We are delighted to inform you of an exciting new development on www.sacredmysteries.com. Beginning in March of this year, we are inaugurating a new members-only area of the site. Calling it the School of Sacred Mysteries, our intention is to create a destination for inquiring souls, a sanctuary of learning, quickening, cross-fertilization, and fellowship among scholars, students and practitioners who are doing inner work and research in global wisdom traditions of both the East and West, some of which have been marginalized and literally driven underground by theocratic religion and dogmatic scientism in the West for millennia. The members’ forum will allow you to share your own insights, contributions, and questions with fellow members.

The School of Sacred Mysteries is extremely honored and proud to feature as its first core teaching, an educational program entitled “A Master Program in Alchemy at the End of the Cycle,” consisting of four distinct courses, given in weekly classes (podcasts), by a realized and very remarkable teacher, Robert E. Cox.

Robert E. Cox’s unique amalgam of ancient Eastern and Western sacred philosophy with contemporary science succeeds in forging a lucid new synthesis. His work in understanding and rectifying the traditional cycles of time outlined in the Vedas and its application to world history enables him to deliver a powerful understanding of the significance of the current transitional period in which we find ourselves. Hudson, an agribusiness-man, who in the early 1980s found a perplexing, fine white substance on his land in Arizona, went to incredible lengths, expending millions of dollars of his personal fortune, in pursuit of a scientific understanding of what this strangely indeterminable substance actually was. Whether by accident or destiny, Hudson had stumbled upon a substance whose properties, when eventually scientifically determined, made it the most unusual form of matter on the p***t. For Cox, it became a key to penetrating the deepest mysteries of alchemy, the practice of which was worldwide throughout human history until the advent of the age of science in the west. Rob Cox worked assiduously for 14 years in the theory and practice of laboratory alchemy and his discoveries are disclosed in his forthcoming book Elixir of Immortality (Inner Traditions, 2009)which will constitute the third course in the series.

Early-bird membership: Those who sign up prior to the beginning of the course on March 1, are eligible for a special monthly membership fee of only $5.00 per month, for the first six months. That is 50% off the normal monthly fee of $10.00. This minimal charge can be easily fully recuperated through membership discounts on purchases of books and videos produced by Sacred Mysteries on its site. But you will be getting four weekly classes per month with Robert, which will range from one to two hours in length and access to the other material, which the site will make available to members only.
