  • Citigroup, the nation?s second largest banking company, has announced it will cut 53,000 jobs. This cut comes after 23,000 jobs were eliminated from January to September, and decreases the workforce of the previous year by nearly 20 percent. Marketplace?s Jeremy Hobson looks at Citigroup?s attempt to curb financial losses and what the company can do next.
  • Inauguration fever is all over Washington as the capital prepares for the swearing-in of the nation's 44th president. Tickets for Barack Obama's swearing-in ceremony and the inaugural parade, as well as hotel rooms, have grown scarce.
