Kitchen Harvest
By Debra Jordan Bryan

With Thanksgiving coming up fast now, I thought I’d share one of my favorite seasonal recipes with you. My mother makes this in addition to traditional stuffing, and every year there are no leftovers.

Ingredients:
-2 1/2 cups broth (chicken or vegetable)
-2 ripe pears -- peeled and chopped into small cubes
-1 lb. ground sausage
-8 oz chopped pecans
- 16 oz herb seasoned stuffing (made from scratch or packaged from the store)

Directions:
Brown the sausage and drain. Heat the broth and mix in the pears. Add stuffing mix, sausage and pecans- mix lightly. Bake in casserole dish (greased) at 350° for 30 min.

I’m sure many of you have a recipe from your mother or grandmother that crops up this season. It’s fun to cook and bake them, but it’s even better to share them!

Top Tip:
I like to get ideas for my journaling boxes from all of the cute note pads and sticky note that are popping up. For instance on Christmas pages shape your jounaling blocks like ornaments or Christmas trees, for Halloween a pumpkin or a tombstone. The list is endless - see what you can come up with!

What I Have Learned:
I have been using pcHugware for years and today, for the first time, I discovered that if I click on print I get a whole page of each creatable. So instead of scanning through every Creatable, I can look at the whole page at one time and decide if I want to use it or go to the next one. This will save me lots of time. Plus, I also learned if you click on "Help" there are all kinds of helpful hints on printing this wonderful Hugware. Man, I love pcHugware!

About:
I joined the pcHugClub in 2004 and have not been disappointed once with your product. I use the graphics mostly for cards and scrapbooking. I am big into genealogy and use the heritage graphics for scrapbooking and reports that I send to relatives. I sure do get a lot of compliments when I send out the cards I make for family and friends. I like to use the HugBar wrappers on holidays for my grandkid's candy bars. When I have a problem, I know I can depend on you to help even when it turns out to be a DUH!!! on my part. You have me hook, line and sinker. Just keep up with the wonderful work you guys are doing and you can count on me to keep on being a member.
