New Carbon Offset Scheme with World Land Trust
Like you, we’re very concerned about the impact that travel has on the environment. This year Tucan Travel has created a Carbon Offset Scheme in partnership with international conservation charity World Land Trust. For a small donation you can offset some of the carbon emissions created by your tour and Tucan Travel will donate 100% of all funds collected directly to WLT. But did you know that if you book your tour in the months of November and December 2008, Tucan Travel will match your carbon offset contribution ‘dollar for dollar’? On top of that, from 01 January 2009, Tucan Travel will calculate what travellers have donated, and donate an additional 10% of the total to World Land Trust.
