Rickey Minor: Got Groove? Saturday, 2:30pm
One of the most successful MDs in the world, Minor is responsible for the music on some of America’s biggest TV shows: American Idol, America’s Got Talent, VH1’s Diva’s Live, the Oscars, the Grammys, the Superbowl, and numerous other broadcasts. Beyond his music direction skills, Minor’s a killing player: From his breakout gig with Whitney Houston to serving such giants as Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones, there are few stars in any style that Rickey hasn’t thrown it down for.

Verdine White: Shining Star: Interview with a Bass Legend, Sunday, 10:30am
Off the heels of Saturday night’s epic concert—featuring 2008 BP Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Verdine White and his band (w/ Music Director and bassist Nathan East)—Earth, Wind & Fire’s Verdine White will be on hand Sunday morning for an onstage interview with Bass Player Senior Contributing Editor Chris Jisi. Be there at 10:30 sharp to get a once-in-a-lifetime shot to ask a true bass legend your burning questions, and hear him relay the stories behind his inimitable sound and style.

Gary Novak to perform in Chris Chaney's clinic: World-class session/jazz-fusion drummer/producer Gary Novak will be playing hand drums in Chris Chaney's clinic. Be sure to check out the pair demonstrating their famous grooves on records by Alanis Morissette, Robben Ford and many more.
