  My Cricket World Cup    
 

My Cricket World Cup is an interactive programme for cricket fans everywhere.  The twice-weekly show fronted by BBC Sport presenter Adnan Nawaz features regular cricket fans and armchair commentators from across the world. The 2007 Cricket World Cup tournament is now in full swing and viewers can interact live with Adnan via webcam, email or mobile, giving them the opportunity to comment on the tournament, games, teams and players. Viewers can also follow the competition through Adnan's blog by clicking here.

  Cricket Cup    
 

Cricket Cup follows the surprisingly large and well established Sri Lankan community in Naples, Italy. What marks this group out is its fondness for the game of cricket. In the year of the Cricket World Cup, this documentary traces the love and the passion for this quintessentially English game.

  Francesco's Italy: The Land Of My Mother    
 

In the final leg of Francesco's journey through Italy, he enters the south and Sicily, the homeland of his mother and her family, who have lived there for more than 500 years. "It's like a second homecoming," he says. However, this is also the unknown Italy - mysterious and sometimes a little forbidding. The journey and series ends as Francesco (pictured) has a surprise reunion with his family.

  Spirit Of Yachting: Maxis and Swans    
 

The Spirit Of Yachting continues on BBC World with a series of films exploring some of the most exciting events in the world of sailing. This week the programme comes from the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, one of the highlights of the Mediterranean yachting season. Three of the largest and most powerful Super-Maxi racers will meet for the first time and speculation over which boat can claim to have the fastest design will be put to rest. The Nautor Swan World Championships start as soon as the Maxis have resolved their battle. More than 100 Swan yachts compete in this week-long regatta.

  Peschardt's People - Ben Elton    
 

In Peschardt's People, Michael Peschardt, one of the BBC's former foreign correspondents, meets some of the most famous people in the Asia-Pacific region. This week, Ben Elton (pictured), one of the world's leading comedy writers and performers, takes Michael behind the scenes as he prepares for his one man show on tour in Australia. He talks about the power of comedy and his love for his adopted home of Australia.
