Palin: Day 2

The second day of "World News" anchor Charlie Gibson's exclusive interview with John McCain running mate Sarah Palin ranged in topic from her positions on the economy and the Bridge to Nowhere, to personal issues, like abortion beliefs and the concerns some are posing about a mother of five having time to serve as vice president. The two talked at Palin's home in Wasilla, Alaska, toured the property and then visited Palin's former high school. "Nightline" brings you an introduction to the candidate you can't afford to miss.

Here's Ike

Hurricane Ike is already blasting the Texas Gulf Coast, and the worst is yet to come. Many have evacuated. Some have not, and the Coast Guard has already made helicopter rescues. The storm surge is expected to leave much of the coastline in Galveston and other low-lying areas under water, and could leave much of the storm's footprint without power. ABC News correspondents Ryan Owens and Sharyn Alfonsi are in Texas with the latest on the arrival of Hurricane Ike. We hope you'll join us.
