Expressive Diva, Bev,
tells us more about herself.
What is
the one thing you absolutely love about your scrapspace?
I love that I have a room
that I can "escape" to and create my cards,
etc. I also love my "tiger" cloth covered chair in there. :) Tell us 5 random
facts about yourself. (1)
My favorite color is red. (2) I have
a major in history. (3) My favorite
snack is a Coke and some M&Ms. (4)
My favorite movie is "The Way We Were." (5)
Love to listen to the band "Maroon 5" while I make cards. What motivates
you to scrap? In my case,
it is to make cards. I just need the creative outlet!!!!!! :) Best organizational
tip? I'm not the best
person to talk to about organization. :D Recently though I bought little divided plastic boxes to store
my brads in. This has helped me save
time. Now I can see all my colors, sizes, etc.
(course they are in six boxes....but it still saves time). :) Tell one thing
you wished you knew about scrapping that you know now but wished you had known earlier.
You don't have to scrap every
picture and don't crop your pictures too
much....leave some of the details in them. :)

Bev's favorite new
toy--Cuttlebug embossing folders
I am love with the
Cuttlebug embossing folders! They are my favorite new
toy! I have always
loved the look of "dry" embossing but didn't take the time
to do a lot of it. Getting the light box
out and doing all that "hand-tracing" just
seemed like too much trouble and took so much time. Then along
came the
Cuttlebug embossing folders which make dry embossing a snap!
There are lots of beautiful designs and
some of the newest ones are borders too.
Now in a matter of seconds, I can have a beautiful embossed piece
of paper to accent my cards, etc. You simply
place your paper between the plastic folder
and run thru your Cuttlebug (or in my case Sizzix Big Shot).[Editor note:
can also be used in the QuicKutz Revolution tool with the sticky
mat] The results are perfect every
time!!!! So if you haven't tried one of the Cuttlebug A2 Embossing Folders....what are you waiting
for? :) To show you some recent fun
I had with mine, here are two cards. One uses
the Cuttlebug™
Embossing folder - A2 D'vine swirl and
the other card uses one of the new borders
called Border
With Love . Thanks for looking. Hope you will
try them soon.....it will be a love affair!
:)
See the large selection
of embossing folders!
