The Philadelphia region's manufacturing sector showed continued weakness this month but also showed a glimmer of optimism, according to a monthly report released this morning by the Philadelphia Federal Reserve.

The Inc. 500 list is always fun to read even if a Philadelphia-area company rarely lands near the top.
Each year, the magazine seeks out the fastest-growing companies in the United States by revenues. It’s a celebration of unbridled entrepreneurial activity, where growth rates of 2,000 percent are commonplace.
