There's nothing much you can do personally, I'm afraid, your publisher needs to list the book as in print with Nielsen Bookdata, otherwise it will never be readily available in the UK. Otherwise all I can suggest is to sell copies yourself via the Marketplace. Good luck.

Hi 'Frank'

The trouble with setting up a new KM system using another as a template is that every company's need is going to differ slightly. You may well spend more time and money than you planned making adjustments.
Generally I'd reccomend coming up with a brief that outlines what you want to use it for, what information you need and the depth you wish to 'mine'.
I would then let the various vendors you have in mind come up with a solution that suits your needs. As a vendor myself (Evalueserve) I'd recommend letting the experts do all the hard work, you can then take a more strategic view of whats out there, and your choice will be a better fit.

Frank:

First, congratulations on your new position! My experience with setting up a KM function dealt with first introducing the concept into the organization. Each employee may have their own idea about what KM is, or may not even know enough to develop their own view. They also must understand "what is in it for them?"

Management must also buy into the concept and internal champions should be identified. So, I would start with people over information technology until the staff is ready for the next steps.

Good luck,

Marv

Sarah - depending on what type of tenders you want there are several free services you can use. If you also have staff who are members of networks see if any of the networks subscribe to Tendertap - this is an excellent service which membership organisations offer free to their members. I can give you contact details to find out who in your area subscribes so you could contact them. Otherwise check out sources via Business Link / Supply to Gov which you can get your own area free and for a very small subscription get the rest of the country. We also check all local authorities and RDAs where you can be alerted to tenders they put out.

Hallo Jennifer,

Suggest you start with the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development) at http://www.oecd.org
There should be reports and stats on wealth funds and, possibly, links to other useful sites.
