What does it mean to be someone from somewhere? Cynthia Guditus is adopted. She chose not to look for her biological mother because she says she had a happy childhood and dearly loved her parents ? the parents who raised her. But when Cynthia's 12-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer, doctors recommended she dig into her past to learn about her own geneological medical history.
