First of all, last time I said Orosei was on the west coast of Sardegna. Mistake, it's west of mainland Italy, but on the East Coast of the island.

And now, the musing: I noticed today that I said in a blog post from 2004 that the price of cherries had come town to 5 Euros/kilo, about 3 Dollars. Now, alas, that kilo of cherries would cost 8 Dollars if it were still selling for 5 Euros. Thanks to inflation, however, it's selling for close to 7 Euros, or more than 11 Dollars :-(
