Breaking
vs. Binding; David vs. Goliath
THE NEWS NEXT BATTLE IS HERE
Last week I had expressed my views on the Future
of News TV, and what is the kind of ‘news’
that we should expect in the broadcasting space
as viewers and advertisers. The last few years
have seen the news media grow at wildfire pace
with same ideas and innovations (at least in some
cases) co-existing. But the time for the next
big fresh idea that cuts through clutter, and
makes a positive difference to the lives of viewers

In
the cutthroat competitive world of the media agency
business, market research and digital expertise
are areas that media holding companies are investing

Sorrell have tried to acquire this media brand.

India a few years back, Aegis had to deactivate
this brand here following its “divorce”
with its India partner Percept, during the end
of 2005. This incidentally is one of the significant
moves that the brand had embarked on, under the
leadership of Robert Lerwill,
who was appointed the Group CEO of Aegis in February
2005. more...
