Should I Really Give Up Flying? is a two-part series looking at the impact air travel is having on climate change and the environment. As part of the Climate Watch season, the presenters, Ginny Buckley and Max Flint report on the issues facing popular holiday destination such as Venice and investigate the impact of the increasing use of budget airlines. They speak to entrepreneurs keen to corner the potentially huge market for cheap flights in India, and look at initiatives designed to make the skies more eco-friendly.

  Art From The Arctic    
 

This week, BBC World shows Art In The Arctic - yet another programme within the Climate Watch season. A group of scientists and artists led by David Buckland use their different disciplines to investigate and explain ideas of communicating concerns about the environment and climate change to the wider world. The programme introduces viewers to the beautiful, brutal and mysterious Spitzbergen, a place mid-way between Europe and the North Pole in the high Arctic.

  Ethical Man    
 

Climate change is widely believed to be the biggest threat facing the world but is there anything the average family in the West can do about it? As part of the Climate Watch season, Ethical Man sees BBC reporter Justin Rowlatt (pictured) and his family, who are based in London, taking up the challenge to 'go green' for an entire year to see by how much they can cut their carbon footprint.

  Earth Report    
 

As part of the Climate Watch season, BBC World flagship environmental series Earth Report presents a special edition this week. The programme looks at how plants and animals survive, and travels to Southern Africa to find proof of nature which is already changing. With some species winning and others losing, the programme asks how we can help the natural world adapt to climate change.

  My Cricket World Cup    
 

My Cricket World Cup is BBC World's interactive programme for cricket fans everywhere. The twice-weekly show fronted by BBC Sports presenter Adnan Nawaz (pictured) features regular cricket fans and armchair commentators from across the world giving their views about the tournament, games, teams and players via webcam and email. With the final week of the World Cup approaching, Adnan focuses on the semi-finals of the competition this week, and also finds out how Sri Lankans living in Scotland have been keeping up with the tournament. Plus, for the last programme in the series, Adnan has a bit of fun with cricket fans around the world.
