Sushma Singh takes charge as I&B Secretary

Sushma Singh, a 1972 batch Jharkhand (then Bihar) cadre IAS officer, has been appointed Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Civil Aviation Secretary Ashok Chawla had been given additional charge of I&B Secretary after the previous person in-charge, Asha Swarup, was transferred to Himachal Pradesh as Chief Secretary.
