- Distinguish between the mechanism of action for oral secretagogues, biguanides, thiazolidinediones, and alpha-glucosidase inhibitors.
- Discuss the contribution of postprandial glucose concentrations to overall glycemic control.
- Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of inhaled insulin.
- Assess the clinical utility of recently developed injectable and oral antihyperglycemic therapies for treating diabetes.
