| Accordion Folder Project |

|
| Supplies: |

- One letter size accordion folder
- One sheet of card stock 10x10
- One sheet of sticker paper
- One sheet of ivory card stock 8.5x11
- 2 medium eyelets
- 1 yd ribbon
- Double stick tape
- Rounded corner punch
- Hugware
Note: the cover on my according folder was a terrible turquoise cover that didnt match the desired graphics so it was removed. If your cover is not objectionable, just attach the new cover over the existing one.

| Instructions: |

Step 1. Measure cover card stock 10x 9 ¾ (or to fit your folder) and round the corners with a corner punch or scissors. In the center of the card stock, score five fold lines 1/8 inches apart. This will make a nicer fold over the accordion file. See diagram.
Step 2. Open design program and set format to landscape. Copy and paste rooster border and size to 9 long. Add desired text and make another identical banner for the back of the folder. Print on sticker paper and trim closely; apply to folder cover.

Tip: |
If you are heat embossing the whole of an embellishment (frome edge to edge) - perhaps to give a die cut shape a raised enamelled effect, for example - it gets a little tricky holding the piece without spoiling the enamelled finish or burning your fingers!
The way I get around this is to stick a small foam pad on the back of the embellishment. This gives you a perfect 'handle' to grip with your tweezers. Your fingers are safe and the enameling flawless. If you don't press the foam pad down, you should be able to peel it off again when the embossing has cooled.

| What
I Have Learned: |
I have learned after 3 years with pcCrafter that it is a good idea to organize all the clipart under new categories. I have: Bears, Teachers and Schools, Girls (where I place all the goodies I buy at pcCrafter for girls), Color Me Collection (with the lovely guys with this name), Christmas Stuff, Halloween ClipArt, Kitchen Ideas, Oh La La Collection, and so on.
That way is easier for me to find what I need in less time!

| About: |
I am an avid rubberstamper. Last year I started having problems with my hands and arms and it made rubber stamping difficult. I was devistated! I have always been a crafter, painting, drawing, stamping, scrapbooking and now it is hard to even pick up anything. I have used PC clipart for years but it all got put away. My sister joined a PC crafting group "Bugbytes" and encouraged me to join also. I'm so happy, I joined pcCrafter and a whole new world has been opened to me and has let me create again! Thank you pcCrafters, Bugbytes, and my sister for giving me a way to feel the JOY of crafting again.
