Our Work Get Involved Give Learn Inside Heifer June 2008

About This Photo

Dear ***,

What does a cow mean to you?

For millions of struggling families around the world, owning a cow or another livestock animal means having the motivation to build a sustainable future and the muscle to do the work. It means milk to drink and opportunity to earn an income. It means a new life.

As Heifer helps rural communities in China rebuild after the May 12 earthquake, animal husbandry will play a critical role.

You can help these families by donating a life-changing gift to Heifer, or you can give a cow or another Heifer animal and give a new life to families in other places around the world. No matter which option you chose, know that you are helping end world hungry and poverty.

Yours for a better world,

Heifer International
