Join Farm Sanctuary this fall in educating people in your community about factory farming by coordinating a Walk for Farm Animals.
The Walk for Farm Animals is a critical outreach and fundraising event, providing a fun and positive way to get active for farm animals. Every year, dozens of Walks are held throughout the country around the week of Oct. 2 in honor of World Farm Animals Day. Educating the public through this national event puts farm animal issues in the spotlight and raises funds for farm animal rescue and protection. Each new Walk means more farm animals are saved from abuse.
Please check the confirmed Walk locations to see if there is an event in your area. If not, please consider organizing one to show your community that farm animals are sentient beings, deserving of compassion and protection. Farm Sanctuary staff are here to help you make the most of your Walk, so let us know how we can assist you!
If you are interested in organizing a Walk, please e-mail walk@farmsanctuary.org or call 607-583-2225 ext. 229.
