A reminder that today's post time at Belmont is 3:00 pm (EST), and that starting time will be in effect on Fridays until the start of the Saratoga meet with a notable exception of July 4 when racing will begin at 1:00 pm.

BELMONT PARK Race #ONE (3:00 PM Eastern)

(#'s 1 and 1A) THE CUBAN HAWK and DYNAMIC DYNO - Only one half of this Richard Dutrow entry will compete as the same rider was listed at the time entries were taken. "Cuban" is working in fast fashion for his first start since a claim last August at Saratoga. Races well below the purchase price if he goes. "Dino" will be dropping in price and shortening up in distance.

(# 8) R Fast Favorite - The main speed tired late in his return from a 2 1/2 month layoff. Race was against slightly better and came in the mud on this surface. Very dangerous speed, especially if "Dino" scratches.

(# 5) Farno - Ships from Finger Lakes, but he has run well on this circuit before. Goes second off a layoff and that produced a win the last time that scenario took place. Fits at this tag and is a factor from close range.

(# 4) Americanus - Tried for the top last out at this tag and tired down the ***. Runner was going second off a layoff and fits here if he brings his "A" game. Appears better stalking than on the top end.
