  • American Red Cross in need of blood donations

        The Indiana-Ohio Region of the American Red Cross began the day with four of the eight blood types below minimum inventory standards. Currently there is less than a day’s supply of types O Negative, O Positive and A Negative, and less than a two-day supply of type B Negative.  In order to meet the needs of patients in more than 60 local hospitals, the Region should maintain a minimum three-day supply of all eight blood types.
