To live in a fractured world is wrong. To be disconnected from God and those around us is not natural. In fact, relationships of love, connection, and harmony are so important, God even gave his life to destroy the very evils that separates us.

Why did Hollywood think it was necessary to remake a perfectly fine movie (Ang Lee's Hulk) made only a five years ago? I loved that movie: great entertainment, heavy human drama, stylish cinematography... even multiple panels, like a comic book.

At the end of it all, it truly is the effort much more than the final destination that actually defines our success. It is about what you give more than what you gain. And it is about who you are to those around you, not who you are in comparison to them.

To be who we are, instead of the us who sells-much easier. To follow the moral code we know is right, instead of the moral code our friends, our bosses, and the million and one advertisements we see every day tell us to follow-much simpler.

Sometimes it takes movies like this to remind us of some of God's truths and promises. That, coupled with beautiful scenery and a pretty cool idea, makes the movie entertaining... but definitely wanting something more.

The truth of the cleaner is that regardless of what is used to wipe away the crime, some evidence still remains. Thankfully, this sentiment isn't always true. God promises to remove our sin as far as the east is from the west and remember it no more.
