Holiday/Inventory Closure

These Oils are great to apply to the skin after being exposed to the sun.
Ingredient of the Month: Kukui Oil
Kukui Oil is oil derived from the Hawaiian Kukui Nut. This light, non-greasy emollient is rich in essential fatty acids that produce healthy skin. It is great facial oil. Kukui smoothes and softens irritated skin and treats superficial burns and chapped skin. It can be used after sunning and as a hot-oil treatment for hair.
If you get sunburned, here are some remedies:
* Get in a bath of cool water with one-quarter cup of baking soda, or apply it with compresses.
* Apply aloe vera.
* Make a compress of skim milk and oatmeal and apply.
* Apply witch hazel with a cotton ball.
* Make a paste of cornstarch and yogurt and apply.
* Apply diluted essential oil of lavender.
* Put slices of potato or cucumber on the area.
* Put your moisturizer in the refrigerator before applying.
* Drink lots of water to counteract the drying effects.
If it is serious sunburn, see your doctor.
