Greetings!
Welcome to Volume 2 of FSH News. I hope you have enjoyed the previous year's issues and found them helpful in your journey. I would love your feedback on this issue--what do you like; what would you like to see included; what doesn't work for you (and why, please); etc.
It's hard to believe we've been here in Woodstock for over a year now. It's been quite an experience being in the center of things and seeing the "pulse of life" as it happens. We watched the trick-or-treaters parade by on Holloween, Santa arrive on Christmas eve as well as the usual cast of Woodstock characters. Of course, the pulse of life has its own sound to it, particularly when the motorcycles roar by or the trucks accelerate on our hill. Then I know I'm not on Abbey Road anymore.
But enough shmoozing. There are a few exciting new things to tell you about. First, there are a couple of new classes (see New Classes below). Second, Flowing Spirit Healing & the Woodstock Sufi Center (SufiCenterNortheast.org) are combining again this year in having an open house (see Open House--Creating Abundance below). And finally, we are selling eggs in the office (See Eggs below.)
And as always, we continue to have the free healing class on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays (7:30 p.m.), so if you're in the area, please come. It is free, but reservations are required by noon the day of the class. (Well, . . . I have been known to let people in without reservations, but I really, really appreciate the reservations.)
Prayer is a powerful healing tool. I encourage you to submit names of people you'd like us to pray for (including yourself) and certainly, pray for the people in the prayer circle. Just 2 or 3 minutes will help them and bring healing and blessings for you as well (when we give freely, we always receive back whether we know it or not). And finally, I'd love it if you could forward this newsletter to your friends and loved ones. It's a win/win/win situation: my newsletter reaches more people, those people have the opportunity to benefit, and both you and they will benefit from their knowing that you are thinking about them.

2nd Annual Open House-Focus on Creating Abundance
The Woodstock Sufi Center and Flowing Spirit Healing are collaborating again this year to present an open house on June 28 from 2-4:30. Laila and I will each do a free teaching. For those who drop in after a classs has started or don't want to take a class, each of us will be available to answer questions and sell books and CDs when the other is teaching.  Realizing your plans and dreamsNew class starting in JuneI am very pleased to offer a class to help participants who have a longing that they are having trouble manifesting. Perhaps you have a good idea for a business but haven't been able to create it. Or perhaps you long for a relationship but so far you haven't been able to maintain one. Whatever it is, this class can help you clear whatever stands in the way. It meets for 4 Tuesdays and there are two sections, a morning class for people free in the day time and an evening class for 9-5ers. Click here for more info. |
Overcoming the inner tyrant
New teleclass starting in June
I'm delighted to offer a telephone class starting in June. This will enable people who live at a distance or who are homebound to participate in a class. This class is for anyone who has that nagging voice telling them they are not doing enough or doing it right, etc. We sometimes think that this voice helps us because it motivates us to get things done, but in reality, it sabotages us! It creates guilt, feelings of inadequacy, etc. This class will help you turn off that voice. For more info, click here.

Organically fed, free range, heirloom eggs for sale in the office!
We have prolific chickens at home, so we're selling eggs in the office. They are fed organic grain and get to roam around the yard. What a life! They are also heirloom breeds so they have not been "improved" by modern technology. A dozen is $5. It's good to call ahead before you come to see if I'll be here and whether I have any left (845.679.8989).

Self-healing tip
This column will focus on techniques/practices that you can use in your life now to connect more deeply with your inner knowing and heal. Previous columns will be available on the website as well.
Giving is Receiving
We all know that we like to receive, at least in theory, though some of us aren't very comfortable with it in practice. What may not be apparent to everyone though is that we love to give and that by giving we feel nurtured; we receive. Click here to learn some tips about giving and receiving. Prayer Circle
This is a place where you can submit the name(s) of people you know (including yourself) for whom you'd like prayers. It can be for healing from illness, help in the transition from the
earth p***, help with a big decision or success with a new endeavor,
or anything else for which you'd like prayers. Research has shown that
people who are prayed for, even if they don't know the people praying
or even that they are praying, heal more quickly than those who are not
prayed for. Whenever people submit names, I'll include this circle.
So, for those of you who feel called, please spend five or so minutes at least once in the next few days, and as often as you feel called, praying for these people:
