Welcome, developers!

It's been nearly a year since Apple introduced the iPhone, and no doubt you've seen folks tapping away on them in cafes,
buses, libraries -- heck, maybe you've got one in your hip pocket. Fact is, Apple's Mobile Safari is now the most commonly
used mobile Web browser in the United States, and it's quickly making inroads globally as well. As a result, many developers
are redesigning their Web sites to support Mobile Safari's unique user interface model. If you'd like to catch this wave,
then take a look at our new series, "Developing
iPhone applications using Ruby on Rails and Eclipse." In Part 1, Author Noel Rappin shows you how to build a Ruby
on Rails app that dynamically recognizes the iPhone browser.
And as always, we've got a wide range of other helpful
resources on IBM developerWorks.
Check out these top features:
Thanks for joining us. We're eager to
provide you with the developer resources you're after, so please let us know what you
think.
Until next week, John Swanson (and the developerWorks editorial team)
