EV Battles in Live Indie Rock Wars
New York (June 3, 2008)--Electro-Voice and Dynacord recently co-sponsored the first annual Live Indie Rock Wars in Lake Las Vegas, NY; the event showcased 21 bands up-and-coming bands in the running for the $50,000 grand prize and a two-year management deal. The winners of the event, The Underground Rebels, also won a complete EV mic package.

Magic Shop Adds Audio/Visual Mix Suite
New York, NY (June 3, 2008)--The Magic Shop Recording Studio has announced the opening of a new audio/visual mixing suite, the Red Room. The studio is a co-venture of Magic Shop owner Steve Rosenthal and producer/engineer Elliot Mazer.

D.A.S. Does Dare 2 Share
New York (June 3, 2008)--Christian organization Dare 2 Share has been sponsoring the Survive tour--a nine-city tour of two-day youth conferences. A stop at St. Louis' Scottstrade Center, drew a crowd of 9,000 high school students, all of whom heard the event through the tour's audio system, supplied by Castle Rock, CO-based Legacy Sound Productions.

Aviom Makes Several Appointments
