Report: Dallas-Fort Worth home prices rise; U.S. values plunge

Federal analysts said the U.S. home price decline was the biggest first-quarter drop since they began collecting the data 17 years ago.

11:08 AM CT The latest nationwide home price report shows overall housing prices in the Dallas area rose by about 3.76 percent in the first quarter. That compares with a 3.1 percent nationwide decline.
