Specializing in the ancient Turkish mystic-devotional music genre, Latif Bolat provides a special philosophy and approach to the performance of traditional music. By creating an intimate, almost “storytelling” atmosphere, he explains the sociopolitical and cultural elements of Turkish folk and mystic music.

Presented in collaboration with LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, The Turkish Consulate General, and the Moon and Stars Project.
