   DNA to launch Jaipur edition in first week of June; to enter Bangalore by year-end

In keeping with its plans to expand in West India, DNA is launching its Jaipur edition in the first week of June. This is the second edition launched in 2008, the first being the Pune edition in January. Credibility, issues, challenges echoed high at the summit


The Indian Newspaper Congress (INC) held on May 16, 2008 kicked off on a superlative note for those with interests in the newspaper medium. This is the first year of the INC, which is a joint initiative of the Indian Newspapers Society (INS) and the exchange4media Group. Business World’s Editor Jehangir S Pocha, the host of the morning sessions, kept the moods light and humour alive in beginning the Congress. Gujarat Samachar’s Bahubali Shah, also the President of the INS, delivered the opening address, where he took the audience through the growth of the Indian newspaper industry.
