State, metro gas prices drop slightly
As freakish as it may sound, local and state average gas prices are retreating – if you can call 1.5 cents a retreat. Regardless, state drivers will take it, especially after nine consecutive days of record prices. That streak was right on the heels of a 14-day period of consecutive highs from April 18 through May 1.
