North Thurston schools levy easily passes

The North Thurston Public Schools maintenance and operations levy passed tonight with 62 percent of the vote, said Thurston County Auditor Kim Wyman. More ballot counting is expected Wednesday, and ballots will continue arriving for the next three days. But the amount of "yes" votes received Tuesday night guarantees the measure's passage.
