Agnes,
I agree with Catherine (above). I also qualified a long time ago (from Strathclyde), and cat & class was already being seen as out of date then. I would stay with it - there are, potentially, all sorts of diverse and exciting areas you could get involved in.
best wishes, Douglas

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a software that will process predicted demand data - location of job, date, duration, skillset required - for a company's services over the course of a year, to show the optimum allocation of a limited workforce (around the UK). The objective would be to minimise 'out of area' travel throughout the year for the workforce.

I've found a few services out there which seem to be aimed at real time sales force management, but I was wondering if there is a software that deals simply with planning an ideal allocation on the basis of a predicted schedule of demand.

Maybe a long shot, but if anything is out there, would be great to hear about it!

Cheers,

Matthew

Many thanks in advance.
