Prince Caspian The Chronicles of Narnia Continue
We've got four reviews... and a giveaway!
Great Entertainment Value... with Depth
efrain gomez | 1 CommentPerhaps Caspian isn't as enthralling as The
Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, but keep in mind that the latter is
the most popular and beloved book of the series, so naturally, the
first film may be the most cherished. Maybe it's unfair to compare the
two.
Far Superior To The First
Yo | 2 CommentsAll I've heard about Prince Caspian the
past few weeks is that it's better than The Lion, the Witch, and the
Wardrobe. That may not seem like much of a selling point, but the film
is indeed much better, though not necessarily one of the better films
of the summer.
Reconciling Complex Realities with Spiritual Truth
Elisabeth Leitch | Click to CommentAt times, it may seem that our world is
completely devoid of any of the light or magic we associate with the
existence of God, but that does not mean God is not here. It still
remains that we are spiritual beings living in a spiritual world.
Can This Family Film Capture a Broader Audience?
Mark Sommer | Click to CommentA "swashbuckling tale"... based upon
marauding pirates. A young woman becomes rather infatuated with a young
man of pirate descent. Has Disney made a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie? Well, not exactly. But this is an excellent children's film.
And now for the giveaway...Courtesy of Walden Media, you can be one of three very lucky Hollywood Jesus News readers to win a educator's fold-out movie poster for Prince Caspian!
On one side is the official one-sheet, and on the other side are eight pages of student activities and teacher's guides.
To enter the drawing, simply reply to this newsletter at news@hollywoodjesus.com with the words "Prince Caspian" in the subject line. On May 25, we'll draw three entries
from the tons and tons we know we'll receive. We'll then contact you
directly to confirm your mailing address. |

Reprise
Tale of Two Authors
Darrel Manson
Reprise is a quintessentially esoteric art house film about the ways in
which reality rarely matches up with the fantasies we project on our
lives. For some people, that may be all you need to know to stop
reading. For others that statement might be intriguing.
Baby Mama
It's Your World...
Rick Engstrom
Sometimes laughter is the best remedy for awkward tension, establishing
a light-hearted opportunity for conversation. Baby Mama creates such an
opportunity. It clearly delivers the message that no person is above
selfishness.

Indiana Jones: The Adventure Collection
New Trilogy Bundle
CoachZ
All three discs have the theatrical version of the movies intact and
unaltered, which is great. Some things ought to be left well enough
alone. Plus, there are the teasers for the fourth film. I don't know
about you, but I can't wait for May 22nd to come around!
