# 1.The Big difference between Thought and Intent

A couple of weeks ago, I had Mellen Thomas
Benedict tell us about his 1.5 hr long
amazing Near Death Experience.

(Mellen is featured in Deepak Choppra's
book, Life After Death)

Mellen mentioned that when he was being
instructed by the light, they gave him
a couple of names. One of those names
was CLEVE BACKSTER.

Mr.Backster is the original pioneer who
discovered that plants have feelings.

You may have read about his work in books
like, "The Secret Life of Plants".

Anyway, the Light told Mellen that
Cleve Backster is like a saint on the
other side and will be known in the same
class of Einstein and Sir Isaac Newton
in the future.

So, of course, I went to Cleve Backster's
website at www.primaryperception.com to
order his book.

The book is one of the most fascinating I
have ever read and it sure changed my
perception of plants...but not just
plants, everything!

The huge thing I got out of this book
is primarily the difference between
Thoughts and Intent.

You can think a thought all day long but
until you put some "intent" behind it and
kick it up about a thousand notches it
can be just a passing fancy.

Mr. Backster did one experiment with an orange
hooked up to electrical impulse measuring
devices.

When he held an exacto knife above the
orange and "intended" to stab it-
the orange went crazy. (electrically)

When he held the knife above the orange
with the intent to still throw the knife
but to "miss" it- the orange was calm.

This type of response was measured in many
different situations with plants and even
live yogurt cultures.
Plants become attuned to other life and
respond to 'intentions".

In all the experiments Cleve Backster did, it
seemed that the plants read the 'intentions"
not the actual words or thoughts.

For example, you can have a thought,
"What if I went over and crushed a leaf
off that plant"- as long as it is a casual
thought and you are not intending to really
DO it, and then the plant would remain calm.

But...make a clear INTENTION to crush the leaf
and the plant will "feel" it.

Of course, this book gets me to thinking about
the food I am eating.
We are always taught to give thanks to some
higher power for the food and there is
certainly nothing wrong with that.
But.....why not give our thanks to the food
itself as well?

Why not start to realize that all of life
is a living organism and has feelings?

Yes, we do have to eat but we can intend
blessings to the food and I think we will
all be better off.

BTW_ Mellen is a good friend of Mr. Backsters
and offered to ask Mr Backster if he would
like come on a tele-clinic with us.

Mr Backster is well into his 80's and his mind
is sharp as a tack.

concept across.
A thought is just a passing thing until
you put the power of INTENT behind it.

Just let that percolate a bit and next time

about how we can use this power of INTENT
to help those in the areas struck by tragedy.

Pay You what you are worth?

First you have to learn how to charge what
you are worth and get it.

Once you learn how to tap into your own incredible
value you will automatically attract clients
who are in alignment with that value.

Or, you worry that if they pay for YOUR services,
they may do without in another area.

You could be doing a HUGE DIS-SERIVCE to
the world if you are not putting yourself
out there because you are not confidant
about charging.

If you are not charging what you are worth
then you are DE-VALUING yourself and your service.

The client gets less because you BOTH
perceive it as less.

You may even start to feel resentment towards
your clients because you are not being
compensated for what you are worth.

Let's face it, it is human nature to try and
get everything as cheaply as possible:
Don't let it be your LIFE'S ENERGY be something
you are giving away as cheaply as possible.

And... Do not dis-honor the gifts you have
chosen by placing so little value on them..
