COREY BOHAN TAKES 3RD AT ELEVATION GUADALAJARA
See the King-Sized Photo Gallery at dcshoes.com

Bohan, tailwhip off the first hit.
This year Red Bull Elevation left its previous home on the slopes of Whistler to head down Mexico way. Guadalajara was the new spot for the BMX dirt comp, and Corey Bohan, having taken a podium spot for the last three years straight (2nd in 2005, 1st in 2006, 2nd in 2007), continued his streak by taking 3rd place.
Bohan: champagne, sombrero, and a big check.
Going down in front of 10,000 wilds fans at a grassy park in the middle of the city, Elevation Guadalajara featured a very well groomed long trail-style track with various line and transfer options
certainly a stark contrast to the three kicker comps seen at X Games and Dew Tour. To score, riders have to ride clean, smooth, and high
style wins over spinning and quadruple whips here.
The format fits Coreys riding perfectly. After qualifying first on Saturday, Corey rolled through Sunday with casual finesse, edging out DC teammates Chris Doyle (5th) and am Mike Clark (6th) to take the final podium spot. There, Corey was greeted with a big check and an onslaught of media as the Governor of that region showed up with a full mariachi band to celebrate. Arriba!

To get a look at the whole contest, you have to check out our Elevation photo gallery in the BMX section at dcshoes.com. Weve posted a ton of photos thatll dial you into the action that went down in front of 10,000 screaming Mexicans.
