    Kill Your Lawn with Steve Gerischer, Saturday, July 26, 1-3 p.m.

    Tired of the expense of watering, to no good ecological purpose? Learn a multitude of ways to kill your lawn and ready your new space for fall planting. Be part of the solution: Kill your lawn and discover all the aesthetic, economic and environmental benefits lawn substitutes can bring. Class limit: 20 people.

    This summer, prepare for your autumn planting with a garden design course with Laura Bauer. Learn from her years of experience -- she'll offer sound advice for all your garden situations and will guide you in making a planting map of your site. Be ready for planting when the rains come -- enroll now! Three Saturdays: July 19, August 2 and August 16 from 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

    Fee: $135.00 members, $180 non-members; $195.00 member couple, $255.00 non-member couple.

    Saturday and Sunday, May 17 & 18, TPF at Sepulveda Garden Center's 23rd Country Garden Fair

    Saturday and Sunday, May 17 & 18, TPF will be at the Sepulveda Garden Center for the 23rd Country Garden Fair, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This unique family event is offered to the community as a public service to provide gardening information, demonstrations, plants, seeds and tools for sale. Access to local garden clubs and plant societies will be available. Bonsai show, arts and crafts for sale, activities for children, live music, and food. Admission is FREE. The Garden Center is located at 16633 Magnolia Blvd, Encino, CA 91436 (between Balboa and Hayvenhurst)
