Waterproof digital camera

I'm currently in the market to buy a new digital camera and am particularly interested in a waterproof one. I have recently gotten into some new water sports (surfing and kayaking) and will actually be working at a place where we take these kinds of trips and would love to have a waterproof camera. However, the waterproof cameras I have found online (mainly the Olympus one) only have a slightly better than average rating. Image quality is more important to me than it being waterproof, because I also take lots of indoor shots, and love messing with my photos in Photoshop. So my question is, am I going to have to give up my search for a decent waterproof camera, or is there a camera someone knows of? Read more
