UPCOMING SKATE TEAM HAPS
Danny Way, frontside heelflip.
It’s not even summer yet, but the skate team is already busy with a couple of trips, signings, and demos for the month of March. We thought we’d fill you in on what’s going on so you can come check it out:

Demo in Hawaii—the last week of May the boys will be on Oahu for a demo with Pipe Dreams. Come by to check things out, throw some shakas, and score an autograph or two. If you’re not HI-based, tuned in to dcskateboarding.tv for some photos and clips because the guys will be multi-tasking while there as they get some non-demo street skating done.
Journey’s Backyard BBQ—on May 24 nearly the entire skate team will join the BMX and moto teams for the DC Journey’s Backyard BBQ in Nashville, TN. The Backyard BBQ events are always fun with thousands of people turning out for the skate/BMX demos, music, autographs, and free product… as if Danny Way, Rob Dyrdek, Dave Mirra and the rest of the DC team weren’t enough to get you to Nashville, Angels and Airwaves will also be hitting the stage for a set. Go here for more information now, and stay tuned to this Newsclip for full details next week!
CHAS TAKES PIPE AND RAIL JAM WINS AT WEST COAST INVITATIONAL
Last weekend the snowboard world put a cap on the season at the West Coast Invitational in Mammoth, CA, with DC am Chas Guldemond taking the win in pipe then following that the very next day with a win at the rail jam. Not bad… that’s a $15,000 weekend for Chas!

With the weather warm, a solid winter in the books, and a cinco de Mayo holiday in the mix, the WCI is always tons of fun for the riders. The fiesta de la pipa, as the pipe part of the comp was dubbed, went down under sunnies skies, with Chas barreling through to the slush and the piñatas hanging over the lip take the win.
The competition was indeed stiff for the next night’s rail jam down in the village, but Chas pretty much owned things as he bounced all over the set-up and found some creative ways to hit parts. A backside 270 to the 2nd down of the down-flat-down, a front 270 from the street rail take off to front board on the edge of the box, and a front flip attempt at the end of the night locked down the win for the “Buzzard”.

Well done Chas! For a little more info about last weekend’s season-ending WCI, check out the photos and recaps on TransWorld SNOWboarding’s website.
FROM CHINA: MINI-KAGY GALLERY AT vitalbmx.com
A couple of weeks ago Chad Kagy was hanging out in China, there primarily for a vert demo coinciding with the AST Dew Tour. vitalbmx.com was by his side and they’ve posted a mini-photo gallery of Chad on their site… you’ll catch a few vert riding shots plus a few of him just chillin’. Follow this link.
NEW GARRETT PARKES PAGE AT dcshoes.com
Check out dcshoes.com for a freshly constructed team page featuring Garrett Parkes. We’ve posted a few photos and a bio on the young surfer from Australia, plus a link to some footage of Garrett in Hawaii with the rest of the DC surf team.

BRUCE IRONS ON THE TRANSWORLD SURF COVER

This month our buds at TransWorld SURF are celebrating their 100th issue, and one of the ways they’re doing it is by putting Bruce Irons on the cover. In the photo Bruce is dropping into a bomb, shot a few months back at Pipe on the North Shore of Hawaii.

Congrats to TransWorld SURF on 100 ripping issues… pick up the June issue, in surf shops now!

DC SIGNS DEAL TO SUPPLY SUBARU RALLY TEAM USA GEAR TO THE PUBLIC
Check it Out at dcshoes.com/rally!

Now offering the gear to the public, we're pleased to announce that DC has signed on as the official licensed apparel brand of Subaru Rally Team USA! Previously only available to SRT USA drivers Travis Pastrana, Ken Block and the SRT USA team, you can now score the same gear that they wear by visiting the DC Online Store and Subaru dealers nationwide.

The decision to collaborate with Subaru Rally Team USA to create this gear was easy… after Travis’ and Ken’s passions for riding dirt bikes, going fast, and pitching things sideways transformed to full-fledged rally racing efforts a few years ago, the guys immediately had a need for great gear to wear between stages and when not racing. Considering Ken Co-founded DC and Travis is one of DC’s top sponsored riders, there was no other reasonable brand besides DC to make the gear for the team.

To kick things off we’re offering tees with a few different prints (including a fan favorite that has been a hit on DC's site for months), some that feature official SRT USA branding and some that celebrate the #199 and #43 drivers. Also available is the Pro_Spec v1.0, DC’s performance driving shoe that we initially dropped last year. Looking ahead, we’re working on jackets, hoodies and more, due to hit Subi dealerships and DC’s Online Store soon.

To have a look at the products currently available, check out dcshoes.com/rally now.
