Be sure to stop by the store from 8am (not pm, as erroneously typed in a previous e-mail) to 7 pm to celebrate Free Comic Book Day with us!

We still get asked what FCBD is, so here's the skinny. It's a day where retailers and publishers do the ultimate in promoting their comics: they give them away! It's a chance for current readers to try out some new titles without having to risk any of their hard-earned money! It's also a great opportunity for you comic lovers to bring your non-initiated friends in so they can sample the diverse world of comics at no cost.

Because really - who doesn't want something for free?

Almost every comic publisher you can think of participates, and there are comics for all age groups. We will have each and every comic color-coded for age appropriateness, and we'll have a staff ready to answer any questions you have about them.

As a side note, we don't set anything aside in advance and supplies are limited. There won't be any free comics available after Saturday. Don't miss out!
