Jesus' Bloodline
The recent discovery of a remote tomb in the mountains of southern France could shed light on the controversial theory, popularized by the book "The DaVinci Code," that Jesus Christ was married to his follower, Mary Magdalene, and that the pair had children. Could a secret society called the Priory of Sion have been protecting this ancient knowledge? ABC's Elizabeth Vargas reports on the controversy stirred anew by the documentary "Bloodline," opening in theaters this month.
Babies at Work
New mothers facing the painful decision of whether to return to work or stay home with their babies now have a new option: Bring the infant to the workplace. One multimillion dollar advertising company in Texas is allowing new parents to care for their infants at work for one year, and 70 other companies are following suit with their own bring-your-baby-to-work policies. But what do co-workers think of a hungry and wailing infant in the office next door? "Nightline" co-anchor Cynthia McFadden reports. Read more here.
Salary Disclosure?
Earlier this week, the out-going Italian government posted every single citizen's tax information online, available for all to see. The data included the earnings of media mogul Silvio Berlusconi, who raked in $435 million last year with $18.6 million of that going to taxes. Though many Italians were outraged by the public disclosure of their salaries, the volume of inquiring minds logging on to the site caused it to crash. Are Americans similarly abashed at talking about their salaries, or is that taboo a thing of the past? ABC's Sharyn Alfonsi reports a "Sign of the Times."
