The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Discover the World of Narnia Educational Resources

As we travel the country talking with educators about Prince Caspian, the second film in our The Chronicles of Narnia series, we’re delighted to hear stories about students who, as fans of C.S. Lewis' classic series of books, were enthralled by The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and are now eagerly awaiting Prince Caspian.

We also hear encouraging stories about students who were inspired to read Lewis' modern classics for the first time after seeing The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and are now inhaling the series.

Both scenarios embody the heart of Walden's mission: to enhance literacy and a love of reading bycreating faithful, high-quality film adaptations of beloved children's literature. To these ends, we encourage you to make use of our many free, downloadable "Narnia" educational resources available to you at:

http://www.walden.com/walden/teach/caspian/index.php

In particular, we invite you to explore our newest resources:

  • Prince Caspian Educator Poster
  • Prince Caspian Online Educator Guide with Student Activities

You will also find information on taking your group or class to see the movie. With our partners at Walt Disney, we've made taking your group to the movie easier than ever!

As always, you can request print materials for your classroom, library, or homeschool, by e-mailing outreach@walden.com. Be sure to include your full mailing address and which materials you wish to receive. Please note that supplies are limited.

See Prince Caspian in theaters on May 16, 2008!
