Outward Bound USA announced a three-year grant of up to $3,598,774 from the Military Family Outdoor Initiative Project, a joint project of the Sierra Club and The Sierra Club Foundation, to fund Outward Bound programs that serve military veterans. The funds will fully sponsor up to 1,500 veterans from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) to participate in exclusive Outward Bound programs designed specifically for returning veterans..
