The Cat's Meow
By Carolee Jones

I want to thank you all for being so friendly and sweet. I was touched to see the thread on the message board welcoming me. Jessica told me you guys were awesome, and by golly she was more than right. Things have been fairly hectic with the transition (I don’t even have my own desk yet), but by next week things should have leveled out a bit.

I also want to thank you for all the submissions you sent in. Just as a reminder, all submissions used in the newsletter get you money in your pcPurse. If you submit a “What I’ve learned,” a “Quote,” or “Top Tip,” it’s $4.95. “Spotlights” and “Projects” get you $19.95. So congratulations to this week’s contributors!

Until next time, I wish you happy crafting!

Libby

Top Tip:
I love to use the black and white images for coloring pages for my grandchildren. They love them because they can pick exactly what they want to color, I print it and they are ready to go without having to have a whole stack of coloring books around. Yeah Hugware!

What I Have Learned:
I learned this week while making a video from photos of my girlfriends last Christmas, that you can create/include pc graphics directly onto the photos or created your own page titles and endings to your videos. It really adds to the photos. I love it!

About:
I got the love of crafting from my mom. We never used graphics, just yarn, fabric, paint, beads... Now I don't know what I would do without graphics. I have learned that the message boards are an invaluable resource of ideas and talent! I have a new craft room. There are pictures in my house (I am E. Ayers) of some of the crafts I've made and my old and new craft room, everyone's welcome to stop by and browse. I have a wonderful twin sister who likes to do beading. We are going to do our first craft show in December. Thanks to PCCrafter and all the sisters for the new insights into crafting. God Bless.
