For Experimental Chocolate Lovers Only
Chicago-based chocolatier Vosges has a knack for combining the strangest ingredients with chocolate and actually getting it right. In-the-know foodies—and pork fanatics—have been drooling over its bacon chocolate bar for awhile, but let's not overlook another stellar offering: the d'Olivia Bar. Creamy white chocolate is studded with bits of dried kalamata olives, which add texture and a mild, salty, briny flavor that cuts the sweetness and richness without being overpowering. If olives just aren't your thing, you can always try the Black Pearl Bar (dark chocolate with wasabi, ginger and black sesame seeds) or the Naga (milk chocolate with curry powder and coconut flakes). All delicious, and all likely to make you the coolest chocoholic on the block.
