In less than a month, the much-anticipated sequel to
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe comes to local theaters... And at HJ, we're more than ready.
For months now, Mark Sommer has been covering all the
Narnia News that's fit to print, and he'll be at the film's premiere in New York City next weekend, interviewing cast and crew... and blogging the event more or less as it happens. Be sure to check in regularly at HJ's
Narnia News blog this coming Friday for updates about what Mark is seeing and hearing.
Also be sure to check out the work of novelist Regina Doman and Andrew Townsend at HJ's
Narnia Features. The two have been covering the entire seven books of the
Chronicles; just this week, they've wrapped up analysis of
The Magician's Nephew, and next week move on to
The Last Battle... just in time for the debut of
Prince Caspian on May 16.

We don't know what Polly did in between The
Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle; but we can guess that however
she spent her life, she didn't waste it. My belief is that she
finished that story that she was working on in the Smuggler's Cave-and
published it.

Business theory, engineering, astronomy,
and literature are all tools to help us understand the universe we live
in; and some of the theories help us to improve the world we live in,
too. The Magician's Nephew is perhaps just giving us a new way of
looking at reality.
