[KIK] Non-Invasive Data Governance - 2-Day Seminar - Pittsburgh (June 9/10)
Dear Friends of KIK Consulting & TDAN.com,
TDAN.com and KIK Consulting & Educational Services are
proud to announce our next public seminar. The seminar is titled “How
to Build & Implement Non-Invasive Data Governance™ & Data Stewardship
Programs” and focuses on providing and using a proven framework of roles,
tools and templates. The seminar will be held on June 9th
& 10th, 2008 at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. This specific seminar always receives very positive reviews
and has sold out in the past. Please see the attached brochure and read
on for more information …
What exactly is “Non-Invasive Data Governance”™?
I use the term “non-invasive” because of how the approach inherently leverages
existing accountability, responsibilities, authority, and applies governance to
existing standard operating procedures, methodologies and processes.
Moving from informal to formal accountability for valuable organizational data
immediately improves proactive and reactive communications around the
management of that data, improves audit-ability, integrity, consistency,
classification, security around that data. Data Governance does not have
to be about “command and control”.

Data Governance™?” – please visit my most recent blog on the Business

Come to this 2-day session and learn about how the
non-invasive approach leverages existing strengths and addresses opportunities
to improve in a non-threatening way.
The instructor,
Robert S. Seiner of KIK Consulting & Educational Services, LLC has been
implementing successful data governance and data stewardship programs for more
than twelve years and has been transferring “how-to” knowledge to corporate,
government and education entities via consulting, consultative mentoring &
education for more than ten years. A significant amount of the Seminar
relates to Mr. Seiner’s experiences with many notable companies, government
organizations and institutions of higher learning.
Mr.
Seiner has provided this seminar for corporate, government and education
entities on site at their locations for many years and began providing the
course in a public setting a few years ago due to overwhelming interest.
By providing public classes, Mr. Seiner hopes to reach a broader audience and
those companies that are interested in learning about successful stewardship
& governance implementations but that don’t have the numbers of interested
individuals to bring the Seminar on-site.
