Hi Harry,

And welcome to the new-format weekly newsletter, entitled,
"What's new at Fighting-Fathers.com?"

This publication will replace the weekly 'forum review' and
I'll try to present a broader appreciation of what various
members are doing to contribute to our online community.

The hub of our online community is now fighting-fathers.com!
It's now a fully-fledged 'Web 2-style' membership site, and
I urge you to join now if you haven't done so already.

What can you do on Fighting-Fathers.com?

* Get to know the other Fighting Fathers. Make new f/riends
* Personalise your profile with your o.wn pics and videos
* Share your story by creating you.r own blog
* Create audio and video postcards to send to your mates
* Record your ow.n podcasts right from the site!
* Build web pages and/or 'Powerpoint-style' presentations
* Pick up f/ree software, discount vouchers, etc.

And you can join F/REE but you need to sign-up now.

Why so ur/gent?

Because I'm paying a monthly fee for most of these services
and I'll be paying more once we have more than 100 members.

The fees should be covered by people who take out paid
memberships (currently 10 bucks p.er month) but I've decided
to accept all f/ree member applications until we reach 100.

After we reach 100 members, f/ree member applications will
be individually assessed. We currently have 26 members.

* Fighting Father Serge (Germany) shared his history with
drugs and how he now works to help addicted you.ng people

* Fighting Father Michael (Dulwich Hill) uploaded pics from
his e-detox stay at Binacrombi (ie. no computer or mobile)

Michael also uploaded a brief video of the open fire he had
burning in the evening. I found it strangely comforting.

In truth, there hasn't been much activity on the forum for
the last two weeks, and I'm sure I'm partly to blame.

Even so, I was very heartened to read a press releasse that
was posted by Eileen, informing us that my good mate, Morde
Vanunu (nuclear whistle-blower and prisoner of conscience)
has now been officially invited to Norway!

This is a big break-through, as no national government up
till now has had the courage to openly disregard the wishes
of Israel and the US, who have been determined silence Morde

I've also uploaded it as 'Post of the Week' to our blog at
