United, we remember
ANZAC Day is the one day of the year when we pause and reflect on our past and thank those who have gone before us and created the Australia we know and love. The ANZAC spirit is all about courage, mateship and good ole Aussie larrikin antics. So as well as remembering the sacrifices made, honour the ANZAC spirit in
true Australian style – head to the pub for a few drinks, a game of two-up or some laughs with your friends and family.

ANZAC Day
25 April 2008
It’s a time of reflection, of thankfulness, of remembrance. It’s ANZAC Day in Brisbane. And in 2008, 93 years after that fateful landing on Gallipoli beach, we will gather in the city centre and many of the suburbs and towns to pay our respects to our servicemen and women.
