The Fight Is On
Pennsylvania polls opened at 7 a.m. this morning, with state officials expecting record numbers of voters to turn up in this all-important Democratic primary in which 158 delegates are at stake. But that's not enough for either Sens. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., or Barack Obama, D-Ill., to secure the 2,025 total pledged delegates needed to clinch the nomination. Will the results of the Keystone State's primary offer any conclusion in this protracted battle for the White House? Fencing the Border
In the quest to secure the 2,000-mile-long U.S.-Mexico border, the Department of Homeland Security has embarked on a massive construction project to build a 15- to 18-foot wall along large swaths of the territory. But a lot of south Texans are roaring mad about the plan. The proposed path of the fence cuts directly through residents' backyards and even a local golf course. How much do Texans stand to lose in America's pursuit of border security? ABC's John Donvan reports. Read more here.
UFO's Visit Phoenix?
Late Monday night, local residents and air traffic controllers at the nearby Sky Harbor International Airport spotted unusual red lights in the skies of north Phoenix. The lights were reported to be traveling east, fading from sight just after 8 p.m. The Federal Aviation Administration and other civilian and military organizations say they do not know the source of the lights. Could this be a repeat of the 1997 "Phoenix Lights" sighting witnessed by thousands of area residents? ABC's Brian Rooney reports.
